What insurances do you take?

OTA Wakefield accepts many types of insurance. We are an in network provider with Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Other insurance plans are accepted, but are considered out of network.

 

What does insurance cover?

All coverage is subject to the terms of your agreement with your insurance company.

It is your responsibility to understand your coverage and know your co-pay, deductible, and co-insurance, as well as any limitations on the number of visits allowed.

Depending on which type of plan you have, (HMO, PPO), you may need a referral from your primary care physician. If you have a deductible plan, some or all of the charges may not be paid until you reach that deductible. Please check your benefits.

OTA Wakefield will bill your insurance company on your behalf, but you are ultimately responsible for all charges.

For the insurance companies for whom we are not in network, we will submit claims on your behalf, but you should verify that you have out of network benefits and realize you would be responsible for any unpaid portion of those claims.

A referral or authorization from the insurance company is not a guarantee of payment.

 

What hours are you open?

OTA is open six days a week.

Monday thru Friday, appointments are typically scheduled from 8 AM thru 5:30 PM.

Saturdays, appointments are typically scheduled 8 AM thru 2:30 PM.

 

How long are the appointments?

Sessions vary depending on what services are being provided.

 

How often are the appointments?

Most appointments are scheduled at least weekly and often more depending on services provided and the needs of the client.

 

How long do I have to wait for an appointment?

The more flexible you are with your child’s availability, the easier it will be to schedule your weekly appointment. We will offer you openings that are available in our schedule or place you on our wait list based on what you tell us are your preferred times.
